Passenger ship port Nuremberg

July, 2017

The jetty of the passenger ship port in Nuremberg is a lively meeting place for passers-by, travelers, hikers and cyclists. Large and small ships regularly dock here, while shuttle buses and cabs transport hundreds of people. Efficient drainage of surface water is crucial to ensure a safe environment for logistical tasks. ANRIN’s SF-200 drainage channel comes into play here. This system, with a nominal width of 200 mm and cast iron frames and gratings in the innovative OvalGrip design, perfectly meets the requirements for high-traffic areas. This project is proof of the City of Nuremberg’s commitment to infrastructure development. It required an investment of around 3.2 million euros and spanned from 2011 to 2017, and is an outstanding example of how strategic infrastructure measures contribute to the smooth functioning of urban centers.
