During the summer of 2023, Enskede IP underwent an extensive renovation of its running tracks and segments to improve conditions for its athletes. To carry out this renovation, materials were carefully selected to meet high standards of quality and functionality.
To ensure excellent drainage from the surfaces and provide a safer environment for the athletes, it was decided to use ANRIN Sport 125 guttering, a high-quality drainage system specifically designed to meet the requirements of sports grounds. This gutter has a special design that facilitates water drainage and prevents water accumulation on the running tracks, reducing the risk of slipping accidents and providing a smoother and safer surface for athletes.
For adjacent areas, the choice was made to use standard ANRIN DRAIN KE-100 gutters, which have also proven to be reliable and efficient drainage systems. These gutters ensure that water does not collect in the vicinity of the running tracks, helping to maintain a dry and safe environment around the entire sports field.
To further improve safety and functionality, modern jumping pits with sand collectors were also installed.
To manage and protect electrical cables used for lighting and other purposes, a cable tray was also installed on the sports field. Properly organizing and protecting cables minimizes the risk of accidents and injuries while keeping the area neat and well organized.
In summary, the renovation of Enskede IP’s running tracks and segments with ANRIN Sport 125 gutter and ANRIN DRAIN KE-100 gutter, together with jumping pits with sand collectors and cable trays, has resulted in a significant improvement in the drainage and safety of the sports field. Athletes can now enjoy a safer and more optimal training environment that promotes their performance and well-being.
