As a partner for demanding construction projects in the sports facility sector, we are delighted to have made a contribution to the completion of the Olympic training center at the Luftschiffhafen Potsdam. Various construction elements specially developed by us for sports facilities were used in the implementation, ensuring optimum drainage and safety in one of the most important training facilities for Germany’s top athletes: – ANRIN edge protection channels type KE-100 with perforated grating made of galvanized steel of class A15 – Running track drainage with slotted channels of type 125 C with plastic cover – Outer running track edging with lawn edge plates – Edging of jumping pits with soft edge stones and sand traps Here we would like to thank the contractor ARTIFEXBARTHEL Sportanlagen GmbH, a long-standing specialist in sports field construction, for the installation of our products and the perfect implementation on site. Athletes prepare for international competitions and the Olympic Games at the Luftschiffhafen in Potsdam. With up to 11,000 seats in the stadium and the modern MBS Arena, which can accommodate up to 2,900 spectators, the sports park is a centerpiece for national competitions, exciting soccer matches and events. Today’s Olympic training center looks back on almost 100 years of history. The original stadium was built in 1927 and has served as an important sports venue ever since. Over the decades, the Luftschiffhafen has developed into a modern training center and has been continuously expanded and modernized. Today, it is one of the most important Olympic training centers in Germany and offers top athletes first-class training conditions – from athletics to soccer.
